Help Gates Recreation and Parks Obtain Grant for Park Improvements
Memorial and Lions Parks are valuable recreational resources in the Town of Gates. The Town of Gates has announced plans to improve these parks to update amenities and increase accessibility for residents to enjoy these greenspaces for years to come and to make these plans a reality, the Town of Gates is applying to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) for a grant under the Environmental Protection Fund to fund this project. Gates Recreation & Parks Department has announced the 2015 Spring & Summer Program Listing is now on-line and 2015 Spring & Summer Recreation Program Brochure have been mailed to all Gates residents and registration continues.

Day Tennis Instruction
This tennis program is set up to accommodate all levels of play for ages 5 to 18 years. You will learn basic strokes, which you will be able to use in drills and games that will show you tennis can be a lot of fun to play.
Gates Recreation and Parks Department has announced registration has begun for this summer's Summer Playground Program. This daily activity program offers a wide range of activities and experiences. We will provide children an opportunity to explore new activities along with past fun favorites. Read more.
Summer Concert Series
The Gates Recreation and Parks Department has planned a summer of great entertainment that is sure to please. The next concert of the season is on Sunday, August 2nd with a performance by the the Gateswingers Big Band. Read more.
Lego Robotics Summer Camp
The Lego Robotics Summer Camp, scheduled for Friday, July 24, is a camp designed for youth ages 9 - 14 years to work with the Lego Mindstorms Kits. You will learn basic programming techniques and how to work with the sensors in the kit and get a chance to try out your robot on a field, using several of the sensors. Read more.

The Gates Summer Theater Art Repertory Camp presents this musical on Friday, July 31st at 10:00 AM or 6:30 PM or Saturday, August 1st at 12:00 PM. Read more.
Boys’ Basketball Camp
Each camper, entering grades 3 to 10, will be exposed to 5 days of individual skills enhancement through skill stations, a 1-on-1 tournament, hot shot & foul shooting competitions, and daily competitive games from Monday, August 3 - Friday, August 7. Read more.
